ASSOCIATION
AAIHMK, the official body representing alumni of the Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (IHMCT), Kovalam, was established in 2010. Since then, our mission has been to create a vibrant community of alumni who can support and inspire each other while also working towards the betterment and development of our beloved institute.
We are a registered society under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955 (Register no: T.1028/10). We have been working tirelessly towards achieving our goals.
Our office bearers are alumni from various batches who have dedicated their time and effort towards ensuring the growth and development of AAIHMK. We work closely with our members to organise events, initiatives, and programmes that foster a strong sense of community and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth. Our vision is to foster enduring connections between alumni and IHMCT to create a robust network embodying lifelong learning and success.
As a thriving and united community of IHMCT, Kovalam alumni, we actively support and inspire each other while working towards the advancement and progress of our cherished alma mater. Through scholarships, awards, and various initiatives, we aim to promote excellence and actively contribute to the betterment and growth of students of IHMCT, Kovalam.
Objectives
- To create, foster and maintain union, friendship and fellowship among the former students of the IHMCT, Kovalam, Trivandrum.
- To maintain links between the Alumni and the IHMCT and to perpetuate their interest in their Alma Mater.
- To provide inspiration and guidance to the students of the IHMCT, through the experiences and achievements of the Alumni.
- To enlist the interest and support of the Alumni in the improvement and development of the Institute.
- To institute Scholarships and awards and to promote any other object of general interest and usefulness.
